Hey guys,
I am having some serious trouble with my Dvd-rw... I started to burn a movie onto the disc, but before the process even started, an error message popped up. I am assuming that I simply did not format the disc or what have you, but now when I put the disc back in, it tries to load and freezes my computer when i attempt to click on "My computer" or open up a burning program, and I am forced to restart. Any suggestions on how I can get my disc back so that I can use it again? Much appreciated.

Start up the program that you use to erase dvd's (nero/easycd etc.) before you insert the corrupted dvd. Get to the erase button, press it and then insert the dvd. Hope it works.
