and I am so amazed.. WOW... I WANT.... anyways that stuff seems to be pretty old so I want to see what stuff I should get now and also ask some questions. First all I really want to do is to be able to copy xbox games.
This is what I am thinking about getting so far:
Modchip-----XECUTER 2.6 LITE CE PLUS SOLDERLESS ADAPTER (Is this chip good? I was wanting this one over the Xecuter 3 just because its cheaper, or is the Xecuter 3 really worth it? Also Im not sure which version of xbox I have because I havent checked yet, but I bought it 2 years ago so its probably a newer one, either way the Xecuter 2.6 lite comes in two diffrent connection for 1.6 or 1.5 under)
Dashboard-------From watching the videos at g4tv I like the EvolutionX, or is there somthing better?
Copying program--------Xcommander (also from watching the vids on 4tv)
Harddrive----------Maxtor HD (size undesided, but looking for cheap way or no harddrive at all)
So is this stuff good? or is there better stuff to get? like I heard of Px hddloader and DVD2XBOX, which copying program is the best?
Now for some questions:
-is it posible to copy xbox games with a computer on a DVD disc and if so what do I need to play it on the xbox? because harddrives are pricy and if I can simply burn the discs instead then I would rather do that. So if I burn the games do I just need the mod chip and Evox?
-I want to get the Xbox media center program, so I will probably need Evox for that and then can I run the media off of cds?
- on the chip info page it says, "Preflashed with the Linux FLASHBIOS Cromwell BIOS. There is 2 different BIOS's on this CHIP check both banks especially if you have a v1.6B!!"..... SO what is Linux FLASHBIOS Cromwell BIOS anyways?
So, if I can burn Xbox games onto DVD Discs, does anyone know how to do this? Or is it as simple as creating an ISO file then burning it with nero? also I have seen xbox images on sites like torrentspy, so I can download those and burn them too? THIS MOD CHIP STUFF ROCKS!!!!!
Where can I get EVOX and what is the latest release??????? I have seen it on torrentspy.com but there are no seeders.

Is installing a mod without the solderess adapter hard? Because I can get the same mod chip but without the solderless adapter for $20 Cheaper. And as you can tell I dont like spending alot of my money (I got a expensive Hobby, GUITAR PLAYING so far coast me almost around 2 grand and Im just a 17 year old kid :) with only a stupid paper route.
Hey, I was just lookng around and was reading about soft modding. Is soft moding a good way to go? because I dont really want to buy a new harddrive. Then again I might be able to find a second hand little 30GB HD or something. *$&#*$^*#^ Im so confused And if I softmod I will need to buy a Xbox memory card, probably easier to buy the mod chip.
