What is your opinion makes Clone DVD2 in conjunction with Any DVD a better choice, than lets say 1 Click? I was dead set to buy 1 Click.

I have read that Clone DVD2 seems to backup DVD's that alot of others won't and if thats the case it seem to be the logical choice, but I would like to hear your opinion's, as most of you have experience and knowledge that I hope to gain from your input.

Thanks
Tom

welcome to AfterDawn........many members love CloneDVD and AnyDVD and it has free updates once you buy it (for AnyDVD, CloneDVD is for one year--I think). Anyway...... for a newbie (like my brother) I suggest you look at DVDFab Express! It's easy and you can use the free trial (as you can with AnyDVD)....but it's cheaper and it has free lifetime updates! The program does a great job and I use it exclusively when the quality is 80% or above! I have plenty of other programs but for ease of use it's DVDFab Express for me!

I was reading Clone DVD2 Instructions on line and its very complicated, I wish there was a quick set up guide to just back up a 120 min video,If I try the 21 day free trail it may take that long to figure it out!

Maybe after useing it a few times it would become easier, but it looks like the first time could be a bummer.

Thats what I liked about 1 Click, it was simple for dummies like me, that don't understand all the terms,Title Chapters bla bla bla.

It's actually pretty easy. I usually do a full back up and then just click off which audio and special features I don't want to keep the compression down. I tried 1click but prefer CloneDVD or Nero Recode.
Also it's AnyDVD that's breaks the copy protection. It's a driver that runs in the background making the disc appear 'protection free'.
So CloneDVD or 1Click can't copy movies w/ protection so you'll need something like AnyDVD.

There is nothing difficult about CloneDVD2. Don't let the instructions, for their many words, make you feel intimidated. It is straight forward and simple. Once you have done one, it's a breezed from there on.

Cheers.
