Yep ull have to replace the laser or try cleaning it.

ps3 with 20gb hard drive

xbox 360 premium edtion with vga/hd hook up to my dell 20.1 inch widescreen lcd.

White and black 1.5 psp's

I'll take this down WHEN micro$oft decides to stop being lazy and make the capcom fighting games backwards compatible with the 360 dammit!!!

You don't necessarily need to replace your laser. Those are both CD-ROM based games. Do you have a modchip or Swap Magic? If you have the latter, make sure you're using the Swap Magic CD disc, not the DVD disc. Follow these instructions for burning PS2 CD-ROM based games.

14. Q. How do I burn PS2 CD-ROM based games?
A. Use Alcohol 120%.
1. Open Alcohol 120%.
2. Insert your the disc you wish to backup.
3. Click image making wizard.
4. Set the read speed to 1x, check ignore read errors, fast skip error blocks, leave the write Method alone, select your recorder, set the write speed to 4x, and set the datatype to PS2.
5. Click next.
6. Once the image is created, right click it and go to image burning wizard.
7. Set the write speed to 4x, leave the write method alone, the data type to PS2, and select your recorder, click next.

It's far more likely the media than your laser. What's the Media ID of the discs you're using?

91. Q. What is the Media ID of a DVD and how can I find it?
A.The Media ID of a DVD is the true measure of it's quality. It contains prerecorded info about the disc's manufacturer. The quality of the disc will vary depending on the media code. The media code isn't visible on the disc or the packaging. To check the media ID, Open DVD Decrypter, insert your disc, and check what it says under Media ID or Manufacturer ID. You can also use a program called DVD Identifier which is very useful. You can find it here: http://dvd.identifier.cdfreaks.com/
Compare the Media ID to this link: http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm
