Hi, Can anybody tell me which works better for the gamecube -/+ because with the ps2 its the same ( one works better than the other ) and also if i have a dvd video or something can i play it in my gamecube once its been modded and case modded

Generally speaking, DVD-R has had a better compatibility range than DVD+R. For some people however, DVD+R works better than DVD-R. But if you want a sure bet, just get DVD-R.

As for playing videos, there are programs that can get it to play certain video formats such as DivX, XviD, AVI, and some others but I can't remember the name of it. But remember, only the Panasonic Q can read the whole DVD whereas GameCube can only read what's in the first 1.35 gigabytes of data.
