Swap closed-face HD7 laser for KHS-400C using lenschanger?

I have a v7 system that currently works with 400C lasers, but as I need the 400C I have for another system, I'd like to run lenschanger to have the system use the HD7 laser I have instead.

So, is my v7 compatible with an HD7 laser, provided I run lenschanger?
