V13 not reading some ORIGINAL games HELP!

Hi i've an unmodded ps2 v13
the problem is it will soetimes won't read some original games it used to load perfectly:

I have: xenosaga I
devil may cry I
and xenosaga II
all of em originals and the only game that is perfectly played is xenosaga II

xenosaga I only gets to the "playstation 2" and then it'll make a horrible buzzing noise
same goes for devilmay cry I itl get to the screen warning that ther's no archive in the memory card and when it tries to load the game it'll make the same buzzing sound

qll of the games are new and used to load ok on my ps2 but suddenly the don't anymore.
I've managed that the ps2 reads theses games once out of 15 tries
can someone help me?

see if it work on a friend ps2. If it does, you probably need to clean youre laser.

I'll try cleaning it, hhow do you suggest I should do it? i don't wanna scratch the laser.

the slim pstwo got a flip top so you can clean the laser lens by opening the lid. i wouldn't recommand using alcohol to clean it because alcohol may deform the lens if it's made of plastic. if it reads other games fine then it may be other problems. xenosaga 1 is a DVD9 so maybe your laser cant read dual layer discs properly.

you all fail then sent it back to Sony and let them fix it for free.

hey I got it to work. I went to staples an bought a tin of compressed air and blasted air on all airvents and on the lens and now it works just fine. thanx for helpin ^_^
