just buy a cheap (half the price of a game) modchip and you will never have to complain again!!!!
oh yea, this is the total wrong place for this thread... you should have put it in the ps2 section.

Sorry about the wrong section but since we on the DVD topic...how come the DVD Movies are 6GB+ and some are 7GB+? Is it some kind of protection? Because the bigest you can buy in the store is 4.7.

Because one DVD movie is longer than the other.
The protection will be removed using DVD decrypter or Smartripper (copy moviefiles or all files to harddisk).
Sometimes a DVD has a lot of extra features that makes the number of gb's higher.
Clear now ?
By the way read some threads in the DVD2one and DVDripping section here at afterdawn or check some guides.

nismo first of all when you do a ps2 there is a boot sector at the begining of the disc THIS CAN NOT BE COPIED!!! thats why you need a mod chip it loads the boot sector in the ps2 memory so it things it an original, the best mod chip is magic v3.6 £50 fitted.. as for dvds an original is 7 to 9gig because they are dual layered so i would recomend dvdxcopy it automaticaly splits the disc in 2 and you can choose which extras you want you will need 2 dvdrs and takes up to 2 hours hope it helps ya mate...

What i don't understand is, if it's a DVD burner it should be able to make an EXACT copy of the game, just like you make a copy of a PC game. Why is it so gay?

your right you can make an exact copy of an original ps2 game (easy) but not the boot sector YOU NEED A MODCHIP,, your games are copying fine but you cant play them without the MODCHIP!!! theres no way around that.. just get the mod save your time and money

Yep, get a modchip.
Then just copy a PS2 DVD game (exact copy) with f.e. Nero and it will boot fine !!
