The euro psp also has a 2.6 firmware upgrade. look at

Stick with 2.0 you will wish you did soon enough if you upgrade!!
Believe me I was so stupid to do it......

Well if you are on 2.0 then you can play backups and games downloaded off the internet.

If you are any higherthan 2.0 then you can forget about it for a while atleast.
