Ok...Say I didnt backup my xbox...could you back yours up (or another friend) and send me the files or upload em to filefront where I could use them?
and if so...how would I use them...I dont really know hot to ftp but i do have the software...

I also dunno if you need this but here is all that i did before the error...
I installed the linux...changed the ip...then i went to the cpu and opened the correct stuff...I then deleted all the new maps and replaced em with some my friend gave me by just dragging em in...Then, I went to the box and loaded up halo 2...went into splitscreen and tried to load a new map...i waited like 30 seconds and then freaked out when it still said i was trying to load...so I went to the dash and deleted all the files in this order (i think) dvd2xbox dongle free dvd player then all the mod stuff and then the multiplayer map pack...(yes I was dumb...i freaked out 4 some reason) then i tried to get on xbox live to ask a friend and it said cancel/start troubleshooter...i started the troubleshooter thinking it would allow me to change the IP back to automatic...then it said 21 up at the top left corner with a shit load of languages...My light was flashing green and red...

I then decided to call xbox :) and they said they do not support modding/linux and immediatly hung up :oops: (no help there)

My pack i used to mod>

Also if there are any other people who might help me give em my email kitmt@comcast.net
or if there are any other techniques to fix the error or at least be able to get on live again (not to mod)

I also need a good tut to ftp!!!

if your friend has a modded xbox and it works then try and clone his hard drive??? either that or put the disk in you used to mod the game like sc mech assult or 007 then uninstall the softmod and go back to yuor original dash?? i dnt exactly understand what you have done to be honest sounds like your maps have corrupted did u resign them before putting them on???
