it's eazy and quick use dvd shrink or anydvd with nero6 ultra and a good dvd burner like lite-on set your speed and remember from
anydvd to nero it's best you use dual layer dvd's for dvd shrink to nero any 4.7GB will do the trick no transfer of files and for lot's of you it may be to complicated to do so. i've given this info to all, my friend's and it work's for them it can work for you;
delete files from dvd shrink when finished burning a dvd.
you don't have to do this for anydvd, because it's a straight transfer to nero when done encoding and start to burn file's
to the dvd. anydvd and nero work's faster to,prox time 40min,
and dvdshrink about 30min for analizing,45 to one hour to encode then the burn yore looking at atleast the lenth of watching a full movie,1:45 min depending on the speed of your burner to, i use max and i've never had any problem's and like i said before the qualaty is great...i hope it work's for you like it has for my friend's and i......well gotta go kid's...........zillaman out.....

Just a thought...

If you're going to use dual layers, rip with DVDDecrypter (use AnyDVD if u have to) to ISO and burn with IMGBurn.

If you're going to use DVD Shrink just make sure you set the output to 4300mb to ensure a solid burn and use quality media (TYs/Verbatim/Ritek/Ridata/Maxell(MIJ).

o.k truth is that i've only began burning round christmas time till now and there is still lot's of thing's i have yet to learn about burning, like what does the ISO,and IMGBburn do and how will that change the way i burn ? p.s if i change on the DVD Shrink to 430mb,
will i still have the not enough disk space window to pop up or will it burn the whole dvd,extras and all. the way i burn now i only take out sub titles who don't need them or french lingo and spanish,
i guess it won't hurt if i don't take it out so please explain,
i'm new at this and so far 99.99% i have no problems,how ever i know i can learn better way's to improve burn time and maintain qualaty.
MR.UNOLORD,i'm counting on you, thanx, zillaman out.....

Hey zillaman,

An ISO image is just a different file format for the video files (.vob, .ifo, .bup), it's viewed as a single icon with a .iso extension. The image is burned to DVD just as you did the files in the video_ts folder, only you're burning one file. Both dvdshrink and dvddecrypter can be used to create an iso image. DVDdecrypter will create an image of the files, but it will not shrink the files to fit on a single layer DVD if the movie is too large. DVDshrink will rip the files, shrink them to fit on a dvd-5, then create the image for burning. You can burn the image using dvddecrypter in iso write mode, use nero, use roxio, or use imgburn. What you choose to rip the files with, in what format, or how you burn them to DVD is up to you.

Changing the file size to a value less that the capacity of the DVD prevents burning too close to the outer edge of the disk where errors can occur. When you change the output file size to a custom one of 4300MB, your telling shrink that you don't want files sizes exceed 4300MB and it will adjust compression percentage accordingly. You can still reauthor the movie as before to remove any extras you don't want. Just have shrink save the target as an ISO image from the drop down menu when clicking the backup tab.

If you're going to have ISO images created and experiement with them I also suggest you use ImgBurn to write the file to DVD, all it is, is an ISO burner and you can get it here...
