Removing Ads and Trailers?!

Hi, I Am looking into removing ads and lame trailers from my backups but I'm a bit confused. Basically, the progs I use right now are: DVD Shrink, AnyDVD, Nero Recode-2. Now, I know that I can go in and disable the ads and trailers manually, but then it asks me to choose a custom picture or background. I'v noticed that AnyDVD has a setting that removes the files automatically I guess so I have the Disk jump right to the main movie.

So, If I choose to just let AnyDVD remove the ads, etc. will the prog that I use to recode the movie automatically upgrade to the next best movie quality?

You could use re-author mode in DVD Shrink and do main movie only.

Yeah, but I like to keep the menus and the extras. It's just all the ads that I don't want. I found VOBblanker, but after first ripping with DVD Decryptor, It gives me an error. and wants to auto skip the main movie when it scans.
