is the 10.1 patch for pinnacle studio worth installing ?.
i only ask because i have to increase my ram if i do so.

Read the change notes regarding the patch supplied by Pinnacle. If this patch will fix the particular problems it was created for, then use it. However, if you are not experiencing any problems with your software, I would not suggest installing it. Pinnacles patches are hit or miss. I don't patch unless it addresses something wrong with my install.
