Ok, this is a vid I took of what I was trying to explain in my first thread here. As you can see, I have a cube modded with a Ripper 3. But if you look closely at around 0:04, when the cube boots, the QOOB logo flashes onscreen for a split second, before the ripper 3 bios comes online and does its job. How the heck did that happen?

XD

They probably use a hacked Qoob BIOS and couldn't remove that from the boot process.

rofl, the ripper team sure works in mysterious ways. Anyone with a ripper 3 (I doubt it, lol) experiencing the same phenomenon??

couldnt u just use Nero and do that Save Track thing to backup a game? *this is coming from modthatcube*

or I heard about ImgBurn somewhere ...

so basically there wouldnt necessarily need to be the gamecube to put the disc in and get a backup to the pc... rather just with those programs reading from dvd drive...

correct? haha

Ripper 3 is a mod chip, not a method of ripping games.

Also, Imgburn is only for burning images, nothing else. It's the upgraded version of DVD Decrypter's image burning abilities.
