V12 Flip Top Please Help!!!

Hello this is my first post and I'm having trouble with my newly bought Flip-Top for my V12 PS2. I installed like the instructions said. But the disc won't even spin to boot any games. Has any1 ever had the same problem? If so how do you correct it? Thanks in advance for any advice.

P.S. I've read post saying that there a sensor in the back of the ps2 thats not registering the lid as fully closed, but put pressure on it and still nothing someone please help!!!!!

Are you sure you installed the flip top firmly? Not too tight not too loose.
After you load your backup kinda push on the lid a little bit to see if you can hear it spin up. That means you probably over or under tighened the screw.

thnx pills. Yeah I tried your screw suggestion, but I guess I'm still doing something wrong. I know I didnt break anything. Because when put original back on it works perfect. But cant get replacment lid to spin at all to even check the backup. I'll keep looking and trying new things. Any other suggestions would be great thanx 4 time.

I found out how to make it work, much thanks to my girl runfast, for explaining the vital piece of left out information about the 3rd sensor that the replacement lid doesnt connect to I had to find out how to do that manually. But whatever now I'm in business. So for my fellow noobers if you need further assistance feel free to P.M. for help. :)
