Hello everyone,

I have been using DVD Rebuilder with CCE for a year without much issue. However yesterday while backing up the movie, at the very end (rebuilding stage), I received this error message:

Run Time Error 9-Subscript out of Range

And the program closed abruptly. Any ideas what this could be.

I had not used DVD Shrink or any other software to strip unwanted materials.

Thanks in advance!!

there has been a couple fixes/work arounds posted but the constant is that the use of psl2 plugin wizard or clean up w/ vobblanker or fixvts will correct the problem seems to be a ripping problem!

Thanks for the reply. I ripped using DVD Decrypter and did not modify or rearrange any files.

Any thoughts as to what I could do to correct this.

Thanks..

I would use vobblanker as it's free and it will let you edit anything else you want to take out!

vobblanker > http://jsoto.posunplugged.com/vobblanker.htm

or use fixvts either as part of the psl2plugin w/ pgcedit or as a standalone this is what it was built for!

or you can use dvdfabdecrypter and see if that get's it done!

Basic question here. What am i removing from the files or fixing. I ripped it as it is and passed through DVD Rebuilder and CCE. I don't want to strip anything out.

Thanks for the inputs.

this error I have just recently seen posted around!

and it seems to be protection related so that's why I suggested it

fix vts is made just to clean up files after ripping removing junk left behind after decrypting, ie dummy sectors and what not!

vob blanker is capable of doing this also! and taking out any extra's you may not care for, but personally I'm like you I keep them if I took them out I would miss them!

btw are you using audio re-mapping check here for an ongoing discussion including the author! http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=104135&highlight=subscrip...

I'm curious as to the movie being done. I've done a bunch and haven't run into problems. What movie is it? Also, is it a backup from a DVD or another source?

There was an bug in v1.05 in which you could get that error if you were doing a Movie-Only encode and had also performed audio remapping. It has been fixed for v1.06.
