Hey guys,
sorry if this has been asked before, but I've never tried putting photos (jpeg) on to a cd can anyone tell me how to burn my photos on to either a cd or dvd so that I can play them on my DVD player?

Well basically all cd-burning softwares support this option. You will have few choices. You can burn a photo-cd or a VCD (vcd's work on practically all dvd players). If you're using Nero, just select video-cd or photo-cd and just drag & drop your pictures and burn the disc.
