I have downloaded some simpsons episodes and want to put them on vcd, they are roughly 220mb each and are mpgs, i want to put these onto VCD but i dont want to have to create an image if they're already mpg1. How can i find out if its mpeg1, 2 or what other kind of mpeg it is.
Thanks for any help.

Get TMPGEnc - http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_tools/tmpgenc.cfm

Click file - Mpeg Tools. Click the de-multiplex tab and click the add button and add the mpeg. That will tell you if its mpeg-1!
