Hi! I just purchased a DVD pLayer/recorder Digital Max DMD-R0501 by Liteon. I'm very happy with it so far, but when I went to play one of my kids DVD it wouldn't play it. It plays all the other DVDs that I have, but not this one. I even tested the DVD in a different player and it worked. Is there a problem with my unit or something? Both the player and the DVD are region 1. I also noticed that there is a firmware update on thier site for my model.

I'm not sure what fireware is, but will it maybe fix the problem?

Does any one else have this problem or can someone help me?
