Okay, I've looked over the boards for a few days and have tryed many methods of converting RMVB files to DVD with no luck. The problem seems to be in the software used. I've used AViConverter (I beleive) to convert RM to DVD, but the audio track gets shifted during the process. I've also tryed to convert the files to Avi then DVD, but it converts to a divx which might make it more complicated or result in lower quality. Does anyone have a sure fire method?

Update: I used Boilsoft's RM Converter but it only converts the audio portion (No video in the converted file).

If you all want to convert rmvb file to dvd VOB try winavi or santadvd. It works for me and I know it will also work for you.

I use winavi. It convert to dvd files then I use Nero vision express to burn them. Its faster than other programs but still takes awhile (1 min convert per 2 min video).

Hey guys:

I've been using winAVI too...but the video and audio aren't in sync with each other everytime I try to convert rmvb to DVD...but they're in sync when I convert rmvb to VCD. Can someone help me pls??? Are there any alternatives to winAVI that are just as fast?

Thanks!!!
