I've been using the same one two punch on all my movies, i usually use Decrypter, followed by shrink back to decrypter for burning but i havent had much luck while doing Red Eye, during the burning phase i always run into a I/O error in decrypter.......Any Idea's Guys?
PS. I've updated my firmware and that is not the problem.

Verbetum is kinda iffy because there are too many manufactures making them (like 3 or 4 different ID codes)
best ones
Taiyo Yuden
Ritek
Prodisc

Just ripped this filck this morning. Had no problems with this one at all, shrink ripped it all by itself (re-authored, main movie only), had shrink create the ISO and then used decrypter to burn.

You misunderstood. I'm not saying that all Verbatums are bad. media id codes starting with "MCC", manufactured by Mitsubishi Chemical Corp., are in my opinion, VERY GOOD quality media...this can be found in a few "brands" of dvds, mainly under the Verbatim brand. however if you examine the following thread, you will notice that not all Verbatums have the same media code, unlike the real Taiyo Yudens that were obviously from the same manufacturer.
