i just got a matrix infinity.im not sure if it a homebrew or not.how would i know or not.i got a fella to put it in my v9 pal ps2 and i want to know what is the best version of the software to download all i want to do is play ps1 and ps2 games onley and not online.i downloaded INFINITY Firmware Upgrade V1.75 - 14/12/2005.and it said that ps1 games are not suported.it was in the read me file when i downloded it from www.infinitymod.com.is that all i need to copy on cd or is there something else

The MI supports PSX games fine. You need to burn the firmware to CD using these instructions:

1. Open Alcohol 120%.
2. Insert your blank CD-R.
3. Go to File-->Open and browse to the cue file. Double click it.
4. Once it's open under Alcohol 120%, right click the cue file and click image burning wizard.
5. Select your recorder, set the write speed to 4x, the write method to DAO/SAO, the datatype to PS2, and click next.
6. Once it's done, insert the CD in your PS2 and follow the onscreen prompts.
