Software to join lossless DVD scenes together?

Hello all ,
Im not sure where to ask this so i'll start here.

We have a HTPC with a 5 terabyte server and I have copied all my DVDs using AnyDVD and use Theatertek to show these in Windows Media Center.

We use a Digital Projections Mercury HD projector and project a 14' wide 2.35:1 constant height image which leads to my question:

Can I make a sort of trailer where I mix some great scenes together as a sort of demo on the picture and sound ?

Ive been searching for a day on the net and tried some different things but cant seem to have any luck but this forum keeps popping up.

When the screen is 14' wide the quality is a must even though its 720P and I just want to take 20-60 second clips of like 10 movies and join them together with the same quality I get when playing them from the AnyDVD copys.

I have Vegas 5 ( can get 6) TMPGE 3.0 and have had luck getting the files into TMPGE but they dont look near as good as the originals since its obviously converting the file as fast as it is.

DTS and DD are also a must to show off the sound as well as video.

Any help?

Well all you need is a Native MPEG-2 editor that supports Dolby AC3 audio (I don"t think There are any Native Mpeg editors that support DTS audio) Like the "Womble Mpeg Video Wizard 2005".....

This editor will Let you Cut and Join VOB/Mpeg-2 files and save them as DVD Compliant MPEG-2 files But without re-encodeing the file so there is Absolutly no Quality Loss.....

About 75% of the clips are DTS ( and the clips chosen mainly for the dramatic difference between DTS and DD) and thats where the problem is.

I can do it sort of with DVDShrink but I think theres a quality loss on the video side, it is also tough to make " clean" edits that look presentational.

Oh well, maybe theres no way to do what I want but it should be rather simple to do

Well what you want to do is very easy (Accept for the DTS audio editing as there are No Editors that support it unless you want to spend $10,000 on Software).....

You Can Try useing "Womble Mpeg2VCR" to edit the Files as it Might work on the DTS VOB files, i have just never Tried it before as I try to stay away from DTS because of the Lack of Software support....
