I'm a little confused about what exactly do DVD Shrinks. Can you tell me how this work? Can you make backup of DVDs with DVD Shrinks? thanks

Yes - it shrinks (compresses) the actual 8.5g original disc to 4.7 or less to fit on a regular DVD-/+R disc.

Well you have to have a DVD burner of course. Here's a link to a guide for you to follow. It's very simple. Good luck and happy burning! :-)

i have problem making a backup with a dvd. it say DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue.

Failed to read file "E:/"

Data error (cyclic redundanry check).

any idea..?

Typically the CRC error can mean a few different things, such as a dirty or scratched disc, sometimes it can mean you have a bad press. But lately the copy protection can throw out that error. What movie are you backing up?

i'm trying to backup "THE BROTHERS GRIMM". The dics isn't even dirty or scratched, the disc is like new.
