PSP Help! Controls....gone mad?

Hey everyone!

Ive had my PSP sinse Xmas...and today, it wouldnt turn on. The battery was fine, i checked it before and it said 47% and it turned itself off....which i thought was quite odd. Anyway, it wouldnt turn back on, so i plugged it in and it finally turned on after a bit of charging. EXCEPT now the controls are all screwed up and dont work!

Like if i press volume up it either doesnt respond, or turns the brightness up...and when you try to enter text it just goes crazy.

This is so annoying :( Anyone else had this problem, maybe a setting or something got changed?

hm...maybe santa played and punk'd ur a$$..ive never seen anything like this, try switching all the settings to default
