I can tell my chip works because i can disable it but does anybody know of a way to upgrade the firmware I want to use toxic bios and operating system but the ver 14 ps2 wont upgrade with a cd and i have no way of gettig the files on a memory card without a moded ps2 thanks

If you have the older Dms4 chip you will need Toxic OS on a memory card to upgrade, thats the only way it will work.

i just got the chip a week ago and installed it my self it was a tough job and i do electronics repair for a living. i found a kind mod installer in my area and he loaded the flash on my memory card every thing works great all my backups and my usb hard drive, couldnt be more pleased. Thanks for everybodys input and all the great info on this site

I'm sorry to say Xmodds but this is not only for the older DMS4 chips. The normal Toxic Bios is for the DMS4 Lite chips and the Toxic Bios OS is for all the DMS4 Pro chips. Just to make something clear! ;)

I meant to say toxic bios. When the new V14 came out toxic released bios 1.4 so you could flash the DMS4 Pro in V14 systems and that is correct because I have done it plenty of times. And the only way it would work you would have to have toxic 1.4 on memory card and use dev1 to load it on v14 systems.

can someone post on how to upload the elf file to memory card then on how to flash it coz my console is v14 so i cant flash via cd. i have AR Max if it cant be done easier
