Hi all,

I'm just after getting my PSP (it's a 1.5 version) but I didn't get a UMD Demo disk with it.

I've managed to get one of these Demo disks, but I've also read somewhere that if you run it your firmware will be automatically upgraded from 1.5 to 2.0 ??

The main question...

Since I haven't run any UMDs on the device yet, does the UMD run automatically when I put it in the PSP, or does it need to be SELECTED from the menu in order to run? (in which case I won't run it)

(I only want to use this UMD so that I can run iso's off my memory card)

it dosesnt automaticly update the psp

there is an option to do so if you wanted to

anywya you could just downgrade again

yep u can put it in, u then have 2 select it , all tho if u restart ya psp and turn it on with a umd in it automatically loads so take it out when restarting ya psp (holding the power button up 4 10 secs)
