DVD2SVCD problem

Hi, I have downloaded a film in 2 halves, both AVI's and I am using DVD2SVCD to convert them to BIN's. However, each half of the film (each AVI) results in one full disk image and one half disk, so I obviously want to either join the two halves before, or during the conversion process. I am unable to use VDub as I usually would, as they are different bitrates and so incompatible. Is there a way of doing it during the VDD2SVCD process does anyone know?

On a similar thread, is it possible to use DVD2SVCD with a batch file using AVI input (I know you can with DVD input) so I can convert 2 or more files overnight.

(if its aany use to others I have been suffering from the XVID problems as well, I uninstalled Nimo, reinstalled Divx,LATEST Xvid codec, AC3 codec and an MP3 decoder and havent had any trouble since)
