I would like to hear everyones opinion on these 2 drives I have a Toshiba but am thinking of returning it and getting the Pioneer. Is it recommended to burn at 4x for DVD backups? does it work?

I have a A-05 and I am so far very please about it.

I made 140+ movies backup with very cheap media(0.78 each dvd-pro GradeA), they also work very well on standalone players and ps2.

Not many peoples are using 4x media because they still very expensive compare to 1x. The only 4x backup that I made was with the media that came with the retail box and the backup works well. I'll wait until the price drop before bying 4x media in bulk.
