i just upgraded my dvd burner to a plextor PX-740A
my question are
i want to try dl burning ...what type of top qty media should i use?
i use to use ritek and never had a problem with my out dated burner

also what other media is good that`s not dl media

for DL media on that Plextor (which is a rebadged Benq 1640) i would ONLY suggest Verbatim DVD+R DL, made in singapore for that drive~

in terms of single layer media...TAIYO YUDEN of course or Verbatims (made in taiwan) :) or locally, Maxell's (made in japan) in either format 8x rated speeds..Hitachi made media is also very good~
