Hey RavenLife, I just read your link, that does look pretty sweet. Isn't that the same people that make the 4GB hard drive accessory? So does that device just let wirelessly connect to your PSP to backup saves, put images and movies and mp3s on the PSP? Or does it also let you play PSP games online with it too? I didn't see that link say anything about sharing out the Internet connection. I already own a D-Link wireless router, just got my D-Link DWL-122 USB wireless B adapter in the mail.... got it from ebay for 30 bucks. I know that will work, but if the thing you had the link for will let me play PSP online with XLink, I may have to get that instead. Just lookin for some more info. Thanks!

Paul2004, I had been reading the forums on the XLink Kai Evolution 7 website and I found a user there that does have this PSP Wifi Max device. He said it was a snap to setup and he can use it for his PSP to access the Internet, and he can also use it to play games online with his PSP using the XLink Kai Evolution 7 software. You can get that for free from http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/ and by clicking on download. I'm also going to be getting one soon and will update this thread or create a new one with any info I might get on it if it will help any others out there.

I don't have any type of numbers to give to you, but it should work about the same as any other type of wireless access point. If it is put on a high place it should be able to transmit the signal anywhere within a good 30 foot to 50 foot range. So usually its good for anywhere inside a house, or maybe right outside. It has alot to do with interference though, so you would have to just try it and see how far you can walk away from it at different directions.

Ya with wireless routers you have to be very picky when it comes to placing them. I had mine in a basement on a shelf worked fine. Moved it up on the main floor worked even better. So pick a place with not too many walls, cordless phones, metal, micro-wav, or t.v.s.
In fact I think we would be fooling our selves if we have a community this large, and did not realize that there are some enemies present.
