i tried to upgrade my matrix inifity firmware to 1.75...it was 1.36 at start...

burnt the firmware with alcohol to cdr....load up...tells me to press start to upgrade...i pressed start...waited for 10mins...it still said "programming: 0%"....so i had no choice but to reset it...
then console wont load up....hit reset again goes to PS2 bios and says "pleas insert Playstaion 2 disc"...

any method i can get my firmware back???without it...my console is just garbage...

i tried the Force upgrade method...but it didnt work...it said it should force boot the cd...but nothing happens when i do it??

am i permantely screwed?

No, but if you post it to a Expert, they'd probally be able to help you. Check a Mod Chip place like teammodders

ur chip is probably a clone, and is most likely screwed for good, but the ps2 should be fine.

If the chip is a clone, then there is no way to get it working again, open up your slimline, and check to see what it says on the chip, if it says modbo or Matrix Infinity SE, they are not repairable.
