Ok i installed my fliptop on the ps2. Only problem i had was before the fliptop i had the no-solder chip for the V4 PS2. It seems i have to use the modchip to get the ps2 to turn on because i can't plug the reset ribbon cable back in the ps2 board. The ribbon wont make a connection and will fall out easy. So i just left the modchip in with the fliptop. Now i got the all in one swap magic 3.6 disc. It loaded some old Ps2 CDR backups i had fine. Now i tried to burn some new dvd backups. They wont load just says "not a valid Ps2 disc". I am using Imation DVD+ with the new nero. Most of the backups are ISO or Nero images. I think i got them burned right since all you do is burn image. What could be the problem? Is it the wrong disc brand or do they need to be DVD- instead of the DVD+ since i got a V4 PS2. Or could it be that i have the old modchip installed with the fliptop?

1. imation discs are not very good
2. your v4 MIGHT read +r discs, but -r would be better
3. Since your all in one swap disc is on a cd, before you insert your burnt dvd game, you must hit eject and insert a big original ps2 dvd based game to refresh the toc (this lets the ps2 know your putting a dvd backup). Then swap for your burnt dvd game.
