its not an exe file its just named as that. rename it to .bin and create a cue file in notepad saying

FILE "FLT-HCK2.BIN" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE1/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00

where FLT-HCK2.BIN is the name of the Bin file.

use alcohol 120% to burn it to a cdr.

or avoid renaming it and write a cue file like this:

FILE "FLT-HCK2.BIN.EXE" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE1/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00

where FLT-HCK2.BIN.EXE is the name of the Bin file.

haasnoot wins a prize for the most amusing question in the story of this forum ..lol

You do not burn the .BIN! You load the .BIN with some appropriate software and you'll be able to have a brand new CD with your game!

Read here for a n00b burning guide:

I renamed my .BIN.EXE file to just .BIN but it's still saying that it's an application. I am using Windows XP if that makes any difference.

I don't know WinXP maybe it is a default for unknown extensions?

But for burning the image all this is not relevant. All that matters is that the name is the image file (that can be "my-game.BIN" but could also be "anything.ext") matches with the name shown in the CUE file, so this CUE file would work, too:

FILE "anything.ext" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE1/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00

provided that the image file, named "anything.ext" is located in the same directory of the CUE file.
