I dont know if I should get a 30 or 60 gig ipod video after you convert a dvd and put it on the ipod is it the same size as it was on the dvd lets say 4.35 gigs on the dvd would it be 4.35 ggs on the ipod?
No. By encoding it to fit the iPod spec. requirements, it is reduced dramatically. It can totally vary depending on your chosen video & audio requirements. But it will definetely be smaller than the origional DVD :)
Thanks you know what a good free converter for the dvds I have shrink and decrypter already but I guess I need a converter software, I have a fast computer also if that matters.
i use a converter called IMTOO DVD TO iPOD and its pretty simple to use. it has never let me down with the video or sound quality and is custom built to the iPod. get a free trial at http://www.imtoo.com/dvd-to-ipod-suite.html. it isnt free but there is a free trial on it.
