hd advance 3.0 problems solved

recently bought hd advance 3.0 and havent a clue what im doing wrong.
have:
-modded ps2
-hd advance 3.0 cd&dvd disc
-160 gb maxtor hd
-ps2 network adapter
-dvd decrypter
-winhiip 1.7.3
-hdldumb
-laptop win xp
-crossover cable
can any one tell me what i am missing.
i have put dbz budokai tenkaichi on the hd by putting the hd inside pc. formatted it, put iso on hd, was i supposed to click any of the mode buttons??? on win hiip. and why do i only see the hd advance 3.0 screen when i put the disc in ps2 and nothing else.

Your harddrive might need jumper shunt in the first slot to the left, second to the last slot, and next to the power input when facing your harddrives back. You can buy them for less then 2 bucks at any local radio shack. Thats what I had to get my hdadvance 2 to work.

P.S dbz budokai tenkaichi the quest mode wouldnt work for me but all the other modes work. good luck
