Try AnyDVD. Runs in background enabling Shrink to see disks as "not protected". If Any DVD doesn't break this encryption, email them with the movie info and they will modify/update the program. It is updated very frequently anyway. With lifetime upgrades, this program is worth every penny and it saves a step in the backup process as well.
NtanH1000: You said "If Any DVD doesn't break this encryption, email them with the movie info and they will modify/update the program." What kid of information will they need. The name of the movie?
DakotaFan: Did you have any other suggestions? AnyDVD will expire in 21 days and this is the first time DVDShrink could not handle a backup copy for me.
i dont think shrink or DVD Decrypter can handle the sony ripguard movies... i had luck with the free dvd fab decrypter...although it is kinda slow...i bought AnyDVD and dvd clone2 and have never looked back...best programs ever...SLYSOFT RULES !!!!
If it is a comercial movie release, Slysoft would have to know the title and region. As we have seen on numerous occassions, release in another region at a diferent time often contains newer copy protection schemes than the initial release.
