You probably saw the message phone restrictions on and I'm not sure how many codes you have tried but if you have seen this message 3 to 5 times, the phone will not accept codes. Different months and weeks of manufacturing the 6101 and 6102's, Nokia done something different and we're not sure what it is yet. Most of these unlock first try but some don't. You can try the 2 codes below but most likely the phone won't unlock. A lot of people have been taking their phones back to get a new one and coming back and getting unlocked first try.

my phone occasionally will work. But now it's repeating the same old bull. "Restriction on". And when I enter the code, it says "phone was not restricted". I'm beginning to think that this phone is a unreliable piece of junk, and Nokia is foolish for making such "improvements" on newer models.
