i have nero version 5.5 and a dvd player that will play vcds ive tryed buring avi and mpeg files from kazaa onto a vcd and svcd threw nero, i also have the mpeg 2 plug in but the dvd player still says their is no disc, im useing tdk 80 min cdr's what am i doing wrong?

yeah ive seen it play other cdrs that are burned as vcds be played on it, and i do let nero encode it

Here are a few problems that can be a factor (There might be more):
1)Is your dvd player CDR compatible?
2)Did u encode the video right (with TMPGEnc or something similar) or let Nero do it itself?

Check if your dvd player will only play vcd1.1 because nero creates vcd2.0 compilations!!
