Hi, I got a Magnavox MRV640 DVD Recorder and thought that I could edit out commercials, etc. with it on DVD+R discs, but the machine won't let me "make edits compatible" on the +R discs in order to play in other machines (although it will finalize the discs). Is there any way for the edits to work on other DVD players? I'm very confused. Thanks for any help.
