Could someone pls tell me why is that when I split an avi file into 2 parts with (virtualdub or virtualdubmod), the first part is always ok but the second part always has audio out of sync. What causes this? I tried skewing it but it starts well and it goes out of sync towards the end. Thanks!

try this......
open AVI with VirtualDub, select Video=direct stream copy, audio=full processing mode, then above that interleaving = every 1ms. Then save the file 'as AVI'.
The resulting file will be bigger than the original due to not having compressed audio.
This file should then chop ok.

Try VirtualDUBMOD, better audio support or nandub!

I'm not sure where to get nandub i mentioned it because its usually distributed if a divx/xvid file needs fixing by a group for sync problems or something!

Try searching for it on p2p!
