my local sam's club has 100 packs at $40 each. are the taiyo yuden?

that depends on if they are MADE IN JAPAN or not :)

if MADE IN JAPAN, YES, the Fuji 8x DVD+R are Taiyo Yudens...if made in taiwan, then NO, they are NOT TYs~ :P
