Pinnacle makes a fantastic software called Studio. This program allows you to do many things with a variety of powerful editing tools. There are also others such as Ulead DVD movie factory, or Ulead media studio, or dvd lab to name a few. It's all matter of fact until you decide what it is exactly you'd like to do. Nero provides this within their software package as well. Video card.....All depends on your system. If you're looking for power, I would suggest something in the ATI Radeon product. Again, it all depends on what your specs are.
