everytime dvd shrink starts to analyze i get an error that says cyclinic redundancy error or something like that

Make sure the DVD your trying to get a backup of is not dirty/smudged or scratched, clean it and try again. If you get the same problem then it's most likely because of Sony or Microvision encryption on the disk to prevent copying. The easiest thing to do in this case is to download a 21 day free trial of AnyDVD, install it, then use dvdshrink as you normally would. You can also use DVD Decrypter with AnyDVD to rip your backup files. AnyDVD works in the backround to help shrink and/or decrypter crack the encryption and allow you to get your backup.
