im new to dvd burning, i downloaded 2 programs to try. 1click dvd copy, and easy dvd copy. but i have to enter registration id's for both, any help?

Hi MagMex. You will find that many here use a specific combination of software to perform their backups. A popular combination of software is DVD Shrink and AnyDVD.

DVD Shrink will take an 8.5 GB movie and put it on a 4.7 GB disc. DVD Shrink is a free program. Check out the link below for more info...

ANYDVD will override DVD encryption, and it is made by Slysoft (search Google for them). AnyDVD runs in the background allowing DVD Shrink to do its job. Slysoft gives a 21 day free trial too, so you can check it out. For more info, look here...

Also DVD43 works much the same as AnyDVD, except it is not updated often. But it is free.

My experience with 1Click DVD Copy is that it takes much longer to complete a backup.
