just like my name says i own a SCPH-75001, and i used magic keys with tape and swap magic 3.6 (i use tape for part A, cuz my keys were pretty crappy and part a didnt hold). Anyways i just dont like how the top is always open, im using a plastic cover (the one ps2 came in) to cover it, but it still gets dusty. heres my questions

1) will dust affect my lens (im pretty sure it will but i just need confirmation)
2) is there any way (type of material) that i can use to cover the ps2 so that no dust gets on?

dust will affect any laser or elecrical device best thing to do is just to keep some laser cleaner handy for your ps2 .. what i say is this if you cant keep the dust out then find way to seal the parts that r gathering dust ..and just keep it as clean as possible ..lol i hope that helps you at least a little bit .. good luck
