Hi, I recently tried silencing my xbox seen here: http://dwl.xbox-scene.com/~xbox/xbox-scene/tutorials/Turning_the_...
with this, all i did was remove the fan. NOTHING else. the reason for this was because i had bought the heatsink off of ebay, and am waiting for it to come. then i did the 12VLT fan upgrade seen here:

I did the last one, number 4, and i taped the black wire to the silver wall of the xbox with electric tape. Afterwards i put my xbox back togethor and tried it. First the xbox lights up green for about 2 seconds, and then restarts itself and does the samething 2-3 times and then flashes red and green. Please help.
