Does the Swam Magic version 3.6 with the Flip top cover would work well to play backed up games in my PS2? And when I burn them with DVD Decrypter, can I also play games burned on a DVD+R on the PS2 with the Swap Magic 3.6 and the flip top cover. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes. I only use DVD+R and have burned 50 games, all work. I also use Swap Magic 3.6 with the Flip Top. I've used DVD Decrypter to backup (copy) original PS2 games and burn. I also use Nero to burn ISO game images.

But know the DVD Decrypter doesn't want to burn games, I don't know why.

Go to >Mode>ISO>Write. There are many threads in this place that explain how it's done. Or you can use Nero or other burning software you trust.

I have a version 6 and have been using a pnp no solder chip. Its been about 6 years and have only had to replace it once. Well the replacement just died. I was looking into the flip top with swap magic disks, but I see alot of people having trouble with theirs. I also talked to a co. that sells the flip top and they said that there are alot of games that won't work with it. Looking for some advice. Should I stick with what works and order a 10.00 part or a new flip top and disks for 45.00? Also ran out of verbatim datalife plus disk 94077 which have worked flawlessly for me since I started. Well they don't make them anymore and I have always used Nero 5582 which burns alot faster when the disks support that speed and I have been having trouble with jumping and stalling screens. Should I just use dvd decryptor for slower burns?

Thanks in advance

i dont see why a fliptop would not support games as its not software or any thing the swap
magic is what would not support the games and as far as i know as long as they fit on one
dvd (4.7 gb) it will work fine, but dont take that as a for sure thing. have you tried the MC
explot? all you need for that is an original PSX game a dvd ps2 game a MC and slid tool (you
can make that) and some way to boot it just one time. But i would just order the SM and
fliptop.
