Hi, I have two seperate questions.

1. Is there any reason to Finalize a data dvdr? Considering it will only be used as a backup for PC, it doesnt need to play in a movie dvd player, so I see no reason to finalize it. However, my friend claims that unfinalized DVDRs will become unreadable (due to ageing) sooner than finalized DVDRs. I don't see how this is possible, but is he right?

2. Is there any home DVD player that will read data dvdrs, and playback mp3 data recorded on that dvdr? (Like on your TV, or Stereo)
