Hello

I'm hoping someone could point me in the right direction.

I plan on vid taping an event using two cameras. I would like to splice the results from the two cameras (whicj would have documented the same event)together using either one of the cameras audio sources or possibly a third audio source.

I've only been able to find Final Cut 5, which is terribly expensive and I believe marketed to professionals. Is their a cheaper alternative?

Thanks for your time.

Pinnacle Studio 9 Plus if you can get it. I did my own wedding shooting with three camera's. Of course family members controlled the views, but editing all of the video into one compilation was cake city with this software. Using transitions I was able to go from a panned view of the church audience watching the ceremony into the front view of us and our party while we were exchanging our whatever they are's vowel's or something. From the balcony and all other angles with the three of them.

Anyhoot, This video was awesome and cost me about 1 day of editing and authoring, after all was said and done. Oh yeh, and the cost of the 5 DVD's I made, [approximately $3]. Much better than paying about 1g for a so-called professional to do it. You'll be a professional once you've learned how to use the powerful utilities contained within it. Give yourself about a day to tinker with a test project. It's simple to use, a storyboard with point and click utilities. Can't go wrong. Good luck with whatever route you choose to take.
